DIMENSIONS
Usually no smaller than 5 inches x 6 inches or larger than 9 inches x 12 inches. Books can be designed in portrait, landscape, or squarish formats within these dimensional limits.

BINDING OPTIONS
— ADHESIVE BINDING (similar to perfect-bound softcover)
— SMYTH-SEWN BINDING (allows books to lie flatter when open with minimal loss of visible image area in gutter of book)

SPINE OPTIONS
— ROUND-BACK spine with headbands
— SQUARE-BACK spine with headbands

ENDPAPER OPTIONS
— PRINTED ENDPAPERS on stock with finish similar to interior
— PRE-MANUFACTURED ENDPAPERS, in a variety of colors and textures

— MATERIAL OVER BOARD. Durable boards covered with material (wide selection of cloths, synthetics, leathers), often finished with foil stamping on front and spine, or debossed printed image tip-ins
— PRINTED PAPER OVER BOARD. Durable boards covered with printed paper, then finished with a wearable clear lamination

DUST JACKET OPTIONS
— STANDARD JACKET. Printed on coated stock, then finished with a wearable clear lamination; printable flaps front and back; flush-trimmed and machine-applied to finished books.
— FRENCH-FOLD JACKET. Printed on coated stock, then finished with a durable clear lamination; printable flaps front and back; structural flaps top and bottom; folded to hardcover dimensions and hand-applied to finished books
